Hello! I am Mr. Alexander Gudaitis!
Before high school, I did not think I can be a good student. When I started enrolling in French and Latin, however, my teachers helped me realize I could succeed. In short, my world language studies gave me numerous opportunities. Since the end of ninth grade, I knew I wanted to become a world language teacher to help other students like myself achieve their true potential.
As a world language teacher, I want students to become able to express themselves in the target language. I also want students to study the cultures surrounding the target language. As a result, the entire class may be able to discuss what values are important within the culture and the language, and we could even determine how those values may influences the ways in which we live our lives.
Aside from world languages, I often stay active through activities such as running and chatting with friends. My friends would describe me as someone who is communicative, cooperative, empathetic, and insightful. Wherever I am, I always look for ways to become involved in local communities. I wholeheartedly try to learn about people and their respective interests, and I try to promote their skills to help them reach their true potential.

Please explore some of the various assignments my numerous students created for my classes (with consent provided). In each of these assignments, I asked students to create their own meaningful language and to display it. These may offer a glimpse into what my classroom experiences are like!

Please examine my lesson plans to preview the manner in which I conduct my lessons. I ideally prioritize student communication as much as possible, so students may feel engaged throughout the entire lesson. Much of my pedagogy also aligns with research-based teaching practices for World Language Education!
